Deep Brain Neurofeedback

Among the advanced applications we use is a new type of neurofeedback using Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography (LoRETA) Z Score Training.

Developed by one of the world leaders in brain research (Dr. Robert Thather) combined with advanced methods by neurofeedback pioneers Marty Wuttke and Joel Lubar, this groundbreaking technology has the potential to revolutionise the field of neurofeedback training and application.

It enables us to directly target and train the brain's deep "control sites" that traditional neurofeedback has only been able to touch indirectly, and often not at all. This technology allows us to train multiple deep and surface brain areas simultaneously. The result for the client can be significant improvements in a very short period of time.

Using this advanced equipment, we can train not only deep brain areas, but also overall brain Coherence (quality of communication between regions) and brain speed; all factors involved in optimum brain functioning.

As part of every deep brain neurofeedback session, we do a full QEEG brain map to begin. This allows us both to track your progress and to adjust your training to your exact brain position.

We use a variety of feedback methods with this system – audio and visual feedback; movies and video games. We work to find the right combination for each individual.

Our chairs are based on NASA designs, built to match the position the body assumes when floating weightless in space. This position is the most relaxed state for the heart and nervous system. We have fitted our chairs with low frequency sound transducers that resonate through body fluid and bone conduction for additional feedback.
