Biofeedback has been in clinical use for decades, and the field has moved forward significantly in recent years. We use biofeedback to aid in heart / breath coherence, for heart rate variability training, or for galvanic skin response and skin temperature training.
With the new generation of low price, high quaility portable biofeedback on the market, we no longer offer biofeedback in our clinic. Instead, if biofeedback is appropriate, we will recommend a biofeedback app to suit your need.
Your skin conductance is linked to your state of relaxation or stress. Through learning to control your skin conductance, you learn to control your stress levels (what is biofeedback). For Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) biofeedback, we recommend the PIP (on Amazon UK here...)
